Eddie Murphy Makes Rare Comment About His Kids in Sweet Family Update

Eddie Murphy's family has definitely seen his soul glow.
Over the years, the father of ten has made plenty of family-friendly films. But when it comes to his kids, especially Izzy Oona Murphy, 8, and Max Charles Murphy, 5—whom he shares with fiancée Paige Butcher—his films are not necessarily the ones they turn to when looking for some TV time.
"My kids are all grown-ups now, except three of them," Eddie told E! News in an exclusive interview at the Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F premiere in Beverly Hills June 20. "The two little ones that are 5 and 8, all they've seen is Shrek and Mulan—and little pieces of Coming to America."
And when it comes to what he has queued up for them? "Doctor Doolittle they've seen," he added, "and Daddy Daycare is next."
In addition to his two youngest, Eddie is also dad to Eric Murphy, 34, with ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely as well as Bria Murphy, 34, Myles Mitchell Murphy, 31, Shayne Audra Murphy, 29, Zola Ivy Murphy, 24, and Bella Zahra Murphy, 22, with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell. He also shares Christian Murphy, 33, with ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood and Angel Iris Murphy Brown, 17, with Melanie Brown.
The Oscar winner was joined by Bria, Shayne and Bella on the red carpet along with Paige.
But it's no surprise that the premiere was also a family affair. After all, Bria and her husband Michael Xavier were also featured in the Beverly Hills Cop sequel, which is streaming on Netflix July 3.
"She's the one that arrested me," Eddie shared on Today. "And in the other scene when I get arrested in the movie, that's my son-in-law tasing me in the neck. It was right after they got married that he's tasing me in my neck and I'm like, 'this is surreal.'"
